SCHOLARSHIPS NOW AVAILABLE FOR EDEN PRAIRIE HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS!
TEN $500 scholarships will be awarded this year by Eden Prairie Lions to qualifying seniors to be used to help finance their further education.
The criteria states that the senior must be an Eden Prairie resident, be in good academic standing, and be civic-minded as shown by volunteer work or community projects. Seniors planning to attend a college, university, technical or vocational school in 2004-2005 may apply.
The scholarship application form may be picked up at the high school Career Center, or accessed with the link below. Deadline for returning the form is Friday, April 2, 2004. Scholarship winners will be announced at EPHS Senior Awards night in early May. Any questions may be directed to George Schell, committee chair, 952-944-3722.

Manager of Housing and Human Services for the City of Eden Prairie. She spoke on understanding of the immigrant culture. She took us up close to the Somalian community and their cultural needs. Her talk was entitled “Our Immigrant Neighbors: So Close, So Distant.”
Lion Curt and Tom picking the winning ticket At the next meeting we are going to pick cards until the joker is drawn. This means some lucky EP Lion will walk away with the jackpot. Currently there are about 35+ cards in the deck. So, this process may take a while to get to the Joker.
